Farmville creator punished by Facebook, but only a little bit

Tech Crunch details an interesting spat between Facebook and Zynga, the creators of the immensely popular Farmville that you and I will probably eventually play because 63 million people can’t be wrong. At that time, I hope you’ll come over and help work my farm.
It seems that Zynga’s most recent game, Fishville, is being used as an example by Facebook to show that they’re really serious — they mean it, man! — about advertising violations. So Fishville is offline for the time being, despite the far more popular Farmville supposedly being guilty of the same violations.
Tech Crunch suggests that this selective approach to enforcing the rules is because Zynga accounts for 10% to 20% of Facebook’s advertising revenue. You don’t want to bite the hand that feeds you, but sometimes you can nip at it just a bit.
